ANIMOTO

ADED 1P32: Copyright

In Week 10, we were asked to create an informative slideshow on copyright and creative commons.  We were given a handful of tools to choose from and I decided to go with Animoto.  It was interesting to create a slideshow with a tool that wasn't PowerPoint.  The interface was clean, simple and easy to use.  Instead of the static slideshows we are used to in PowerPoint, Animoto's slideshows are a bit more lively and uses a background video along with background music.

Using Animoto definitely contributed to my digital literacy.  I was unaware of how complex Google Images search criteria could be and that you could look up images that are freely distributable.  Doing this slideshow made me realize how important it is to cite other people's work.
